Divinities, 2018 _ MC&Saatchi London

Divinity, though without form, is omnipresent. It is that ambivalent entity essential to life itself. It is that baptismal medium from which they emerge, renewed: it is water. Just as the waves draw to and from ritualistically, their bodies move so too – interlacing in an exchange of energy that, in harmony with stone and sun, empowers. Their limbs outstretch over the ceaseless horizon towards towards enlightenment. Yet it is only looking upon the water’s surface do they find it – reflected.
